Problem TouchPad Di aXioo

mumpung inget

krn dah lama gak menjamah dunia perinstallan... dan kbetulan yg diinstall laptop lain (poenja temen) yg bermerk axioo.
untuk serinya sendiri gak tau... cuman pas masukin nama pengguna, dibagian nama komputer scara otomatis ditambahi kata zetta.
so i ambil kesimpulan serinya zetta

nah problem terdapat pada fasilitas touchpad...
gak tau apa karena waktu nginstall kita pake mouse wireless(pake usb dongle) jadi mouse standarnya(touchpad) gak kedetek... ato emang touchpadnya yg rewel

cuman stelah googling sedikit... ktemu deh solusinya... dan mnurut beberapa sumber emang axioo zetta sering rewel ama touchpadnya

nah solusinya simple cukup tambahkan kedalam menu.lst atau grub.cfg(punya gw gak ada menu.lst nya) baris dibawah ini

What the heck is going wrong...

Somehow i just scared to dead. things i've been looking for past years suddenly flip up on my hand.

mp4 to mp3 Conversion

Kali ini kita tidak akan membahas sebuah software dalam artian software yang didesign khusus untuk mengkonversi format multimedia.

Berawal dari kponakan yg mogok gak mau sekolah. dirayu macem2 gak mau...

Akhirnya takluk juga dengan bujukan "Kalo mau sekolah, nanti dicopy-in lagu dakocannya Enno Lerian di hape uminya" [dpt ide krn si anak mogok sambil ngedengerin mp3 di hape emaknya].

Knapa kok berhasil, ini karena bberapa waktu yg lalu dia sempat melihat hasil downloadan lagu2 anak jaman bahoela dari youtube.

Unfortunally hasil dl-an dr yutube berformat mp4, sedang hape cuman support mp3. so mulailah googling tools converter di i-net. stelah bbrapa lama ktemulah toolnya. malah ada salah satu tool yg menyediakan web yg khusus didedikasiin dengan nama yg sangat spesifik www.mp4tomp3converter.net

Tool2 tersebut bagus dan userfriendly... hanya saja kita diminta untuk registrasi atau membayarnya.
iseng2 kugoogling tools sejenis buat ubuntu. eh ternyata ada satu cara menggunakan command prompt dari situs ini.

Syntaxnya: $ffmpeg -i namavideo.mp4 -f mp3 -ab 192000 -vn namamusic.mp3

Syaratnya harus terinstall ffmpeg dan libavcodec52

Membatasi Bandwidth apt get

Pengen rasanya membangun server proxy sendiri, disamping sekedar dapat mencache web history, juga mengatur traffic sekaligus role2 pada firewall. Sebenarnya ada sih IP-II nganggur tapi ahhh belum bisa lah pokoknya. jadi sementara ini koneksi ya cuman di share gitu aja.

Ngomong2 soal share tanpa batasan skalipun belum mengalami kendala yang berarti... tapi ada satu hal yg lumayan bikin judeg...
adalah install/update package dari repos yang koneksinya gak bisa dibendung. Jadi kasian para tetangga kalo saya ngupdate/install package bisa gak kbagian bandwidth mereka...

Berangkat dari premis tersebut, mulailah saya googling ksana kemari... dengan tujuan mencari cara guna membatasi penggunaan bandwidth ketika sedang update/installasi paket. Cara ini juga bermanfaat buat komputer stand alone. jadi slain update, komputer juga tetap dapat di pakai buat browsing dan aktivitas internet lain.

cara pertama. yaitu pembatasan parsial, mengapa parsial karena batasan ini hanya berlaku ketika kita melakukan proses bersangkutan saja. misalnya ingin mengupgrade daftar repo kita

sudo apt-get -o Acquire::http::Dl-Limit=30 upgrade

atau menginstall aplikasi

sudo apt-get -o Acquire::http::Dl-Limit=30 instal "nama paket"

perintah diatas akan membatasi alokasi bandwidth di angka 30kbps.

cara kedua. Ini digunakan secara permanen, jadi buat temen2 yang hapalannya kurang, atau tidak suka menghapa. seperti saya maka lebih menyenangkan menggunakan cara kedua

buat file dengan nama "76download" tanpa tanda petik di direktori /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/

isi dengan baris berikut

};

yup cukup segitu smoga bermanfaat, saya pribadi juga menulis ini untuk menghindari lupa.

Untuk membatasi bandwidth di wget
cukup tambahkan baris berikut di /etc/wgetrc

limit-rate = 30k

The Annoying thing about facemoods

Facemoods is firefox addons
at the firs i use facemood to add some funny emoticon on facebook chatbox
the name of facemood i tought was designed for facebook at the first lol cmiiww.
but today when i open the homepage i found if facemood is designed for another environment such as gmail yahoomail aol and hotmail.

the things are fine acctualy.
i love to use facemood coz thereis many emoticon on there.
but...
it start to annoying when i search somethings directly on the address bar.
facemoods modify the default search engine on adress bar to facemood search engine...
the search engine acctualy based on google, yahoo and bing...
it's complete and okay but i like google... so it's doesn't well for me.
and becoz firefox morph tobe the heavy fat browser with slow motion. i choose the chromium as my def envy for browsing activity. but what the hell... that's ancient history.

since ie launch the new ie9 vesion... the browser fight arena become more competitive..
and linux doesn't have ie... so i wait for the next firefox generation...
not bad... the review is good and the speed is good enough... so i start to face my eye to the firefox again...
and then i upgrade my firefox 3.6 to 4.0.

it nice and fast...
even some addons uncompatible... but is okay... i can remove it
including my lovely emoticon facemood...
problem come after i search on the adressbar...
even i have removed the facemoods but the default search engine still there...

after search in everywhere i finnaly realise what the probelm is.
and it fixed with some tweak on firefox config page....

and now firefox and chrome work together side by side...
or happily ever after on the fairytale story.
maybe...

Integrate the download manager winth chromium browser in linux

first, why the title is so specific...?
it's because that's is my fav envy on my machine
and i think with little tweak we can used in others.

the download manager i choose is fatrat. i use fatrat instead of wget or aria is because fat rat has build visual environment than the others. aria2 is great too but can fit with my 10"screen netbook 'n we must download the visual interface in separate way, besides that... i like aria2 more to specific download option.

chromium is linux version for google chome.

first step is install the download assistant extension


go to extension option and add this line


restart browser and we can just download the links/files to the browser context menu to
the download manager queue.


it's can be work with another download manager too.

Migrasi Default Internet Messenger (IM)

Idealisme berbumbu Patriotisme dengan balutan Fanatisisme selangkah demi selangkah
akan menarik kita kedalam jurang yang sangat dalam tanpa pernah kita sadari...

Ini terjadi kepada penulis yg karena tingkat fanatiknya mencapai level akut akhirnya ktinggalan kereta... atau mungkin bisa dihaluskan dengan istilah eufimisme "sedikit terlambat".

Hanya karena kcintaannya kepada KDE, penulis enggan menggunakan Gnome, tp ini cukup beralasan karena KDE sendiri sangat populer dengan mengedepankan kecanggihan didalam interfacenya, sbaliknya dengan gnome. Gnome merupakan projek yang pure Open Source dan free yang lebih mengedepankan ksetabilan.
terlepas Gnome merupakan Desktop utama dari projek opensource terpopuler ubuntu
sedangkan kde hanya menjadi sang "sidekick".

untuk lightweight dan lainnya dikeluarkan dulu dari konteks...

Bermula dari problem fbchat,
kopete tidak menyediakan plugin facebook chat... tetapi karena kopete merupakan im default kde... maka dengan bangganya pun, penulis lebih memilih kopete ktimbang im lain seperti gaim ato pidgin.

itu pun melalui proses yg sangat panjang... karena penulis pun baru tau skitar 1thn yg lalu, jika kopete dapat digunakan untuk berchating ria di jaringan facebook...
dengan sedikit tweak... kita dapat menggunakan protokol jabber untuk mengakses jaringan chat facebook...
sedikit tambahan yang perlu di garisbawahi penulisan username pada protokol jabber berformat username@chat.facebook.com

problem pun tersolved.

Masalah pun kembali muncul ketika iseng2 memasang yahoo pingbox diblog ini.
kendati dapat mnerima chat yang dikirim dari ping box tapi reply yang di kirim dari kopete tidak dapat diterima oleh client pingbox.

stelah browsing kanan dan kiri ternyata memang banyak user yang mengalami masalah serupa...
terlepas kopete yang menjadi masalahnya...
dan memang dianjurkan untuk menggunakan versi yahoo messenger terbaru untuk dapat mengoptimalkan vitur layanan pingbox.

yups back to square one...
yahoo doesnt developed yahoo messenger for linux

but life must go on...
selain itu di Sini dapat kita tau bahwa pidgin mempunyai keunggulan dimana dia bisa dengan lancar menghandle chat di platform yahoo pingbox

so back to opening...
idealism is important...
but...
kita sebagai manusia terus berkembang...
bahkan kadang sesuatu yang benar dimasa lalu bisa salah dimasa kini atau
yang akan datang...

Connecting my Bluetooth to my Maverick Meerkat

Tons of bizzare things happen with bad PR...

for case...
i have audio stereo A2DP bluetooth device for last 3 years...
but i just knowing how to connecting it to another devices...

maybe its bcoz my very unknowlede to didn't know if this stuff can pairing with other devices 'n not just for devices designed for it...
my audio BT type is HBH-DS200 and used to be working with my M600i.

'n for some couple reasons i must retired my m600i 'n replaced with shakira x8...
i choosed x8 with a simple purposed... it was to make it work with my audio-BT.
on that way long i learn how to pairing with my new x8

'n from that point i start to thinking...
why it's can't be able to work with my maverick...???
the adapter is BT-V2 too...?

so i start to try to connect it to my maverick on my netbook...
it's able to detected but can't be paired...

the problem is the pin that i don't know...
then... later i found if the pin is 0000

the devices is connected already but i can hear any sound from the audio-BT
i start with mplayer, no tweak option for it
'n then i try with amarok audio...
amarok can work with reorder the output sound devices. but still can adjust the volume properly...
i try to setup on kmix but err hapen...

at the end... i'll start to try later with another apps to work with my audio-bt.
'n for somebody maybe the result is different but i think the bottom line is same

so keep learn guys...

since sony ericsson released the announcment if they would not upgraded the x8 to the newer android version
that hurt me deeply...

it's mean that we will be never enjoy the newer feature of the new android at all...

'n all stuck on the apps2sd...
it's because of the app might be customed for some particular devices
n the originall one on the market is designed for froyo...
no ui...
install from sh script using busybox on shell
then it work automatically install the apps into external memory

or just my stupidness...

link2sd [with ui 'n works even on donut]

im not install the recovery coz its doesn't work when error happen...
now i can move my apps to 2nd sdcard
so my luv fall into link2sd...

its might be work in different ways for some other peoples...

Dirty Data Check

dirty data check adalah trigger yang berfungsi untuk memeriksa perubahan data yg terjadi pada suatu form/isian ketika akan terjadi/diberikan event tertentu,

contoh sederhananya...
ketika kita membuka aplikasi wordprocessor(ex. ms word)
setelah terbuka langsung tutup program ms word anda...

apa yg terjadi?
yup, aplikasi langsung tertutup.

setelah itu buka kembali program msword tersebut dan tulisi dengan tuliasan sembarang atau hanya sekedar memencet spasi 1X...
lalu klik close kembali...

apa yg terjadi...?
yup, ms word tidak tertutup, dan akan ada pertanyaan apakah kita ingin menyimpan data tersebut...?

disinilah dirty data check bekerja...
dirty data check berfungsi untuk memeriksa apakah ada data baru atau perubahan data sebelum kita menutup sebuah program atau ketika kita akan berpindah dari suatu record database...

hal ini terlihat sepele... tetapi tanpa kita sadari berperan sangat penting didalam melakukan kontrol terhadap human error...
karena enduser akan lebih aware terhadap action yang dilakukannya...
selain itu program akan lebih terlihat pro dan mengurangi tingkat komplain dari end user...

sudahkah apps anda dilengkapi dengan fitur itu dan atau peringatan2 lain yg interaktif..??

jika belum segeralah lengkapi...
buuutttt....
jgn lebay...
gunakanlah hanya seperlunya dan dengan memanfaatkan kata2 yang baik...
